Since i was unfortunately relieved of my old machine i spent a lot of time deciding on its replacement . Required function , availability ,support and of course cost all come into it and repeatedly toward the R tech range of TIG machines . Pulled the trigger and a day later a box arrived in my world , very well packaged and she was soon in place and ready for action . I am no coded welder and do many different sorts of light commercial jobs , repairs etc. . I have now had the machine for a couple of weeks and i am vey impressed , I've finished of a lot of the jobs i had on when my old machine went missing , box section steel doors and a cracked ally casting ( like welding a crunchie bar ) . Its a very impressive bit of kit indeed . Anybody who is looking for a machine with plenty of functionable flexibility , from a company who will help if things go wrong looking at their many positive reviews i would recommend strongly to give R tech a call .........Right I'm off into the shed , i got welding to do

Cant see why its shop soiled looks like its not been out of the box, great AC/DC TIG set if you weld stainless or Aluminium get yourself one, easy to operate, I prefer analogue settings so great for me, easy to set up as all you need is in the box except the gas obviously, and R-Tech have some great videos to get you started if you're unsure. gives me smooth welding.

Bought to weld aluminium still cant weld aluninium can get it to stick sometimes but most of tine just gets holes init nearly out of scrap and gas 😞 qualitys seems good nice and heavy

i've been welding for 40 years and would pitch myself against anyone with a 3.2 rod, never done any TIG and felt I needed to while I can still see, totally different ball game and it seems preperation is everything with this, you can get away with anything with a rod, not this! Quality is second to none, I'm not good enough to make recocmendations, I just wanted to learn, its not something I need, just something I wanted.

GREAT welder. Manly. Lots of adjustment. Welds great. I run this from a 16A 240v socket, no prob's. I have a 16A to 13A converter cable, which handles low current just fine. Really good welder, stable arc. Great duty cycle.
