Details

An aluminium alloy rod with 5% silicon giving excellent flow characteristics and penetration. Suitable for welding duralumin, cast (LM25) and wrought alloys 6063 (H9), 6061 (H20) and 6082 (H30).

Not done any alloy tig welding yet but the rods come in reasonably sturdy plastic tubing with the sizes clearly marked on the outside

The rods are one metre long and come in a strong plastic tube with well-sealed ends. I haven't used any rods yet so can't say how they work. The indications are favourable.
