A copper coated triple de-oxidised mild steel filler rod, giving strong porosity free welds on mild and low alloy steels.

Filler rods multi... Being new to TIG I can already tell that I will not need any size other than 1.6mm for almost everything I will weld. Hopefully I will be able to swap the 2.4mm rods when passing R-Tech!?

Rods work just fine. I bought multipacks of mild, stainless and alloy. The stainless and alloy came with sizes on the outside of the tube but the mild didn't for some reason. Not a biggie but would have saved time

Quality is excellent and I would recommend them to everyone from beginner to professional, l’ve only recently started tig welding it’s more controllable and neater than a mig and the quality of the rods play a large part in that.

The rods are one metre long and come in a strong plastic tube with well-sealed ends. I haven't used any rods yet so can't say how they work. The indications are favourable.
