"I was unsure whether or not the R-Tech 251 AC/DC TIG welder (250 amp) would be capable of welding 9mm walled aluminium half tube to a solid end which until now I have had so send out to be done. I contacted Dylan at R-Tech who invited me to send him some off- cuts of the material. Within a couple of days it was back, (by courier) welded together.
That decided me to buy not only the welder but a 40A plasma cutter as well. The units arrived the next day and I am delighted with both.

I thought I would show you a few projects I have been working on recently, the first is an aluminium trolley for rowing boats and the second is a stanchion for a small fishing boat in stainless steel.
