What Is The Difference Between RTB And Collect & Return Warranty

A RTB warranty means "Return to base" - This means you will have arrange & pay to return the item to supplier - This can be costly and a nusiance if you do not have an account with a courier.

Our R-Tech collect and return warranty makes this process very quick and easy. Once we have confirmed you have a fault with machine, we will do the following. 

  • Arrange collection via next working day UK courier (48hr offshore)
  • Quickly repair the machine at our Technical and R&D centre in Gloucester
  • Deliver back via next working day UK courier (48hr offshore)
  • All costs covered by R-Tech - Yes, Collection, repair and delivery!

What are the terms of the warranty

R-Tech offer a 3 year collect and return warranty on the R-Tech Mig WeldersTig Welders , Plasma Cutter & MMA Stick Welders

Our warranty is a no-quible collect and return service, it means that in the unlikely event of failure we will arrange collection at our expense, fix the fault (normally turned around within 48 hours) and ship it back to you at our expense. 

No other UK welding supplier offers this high level of service. Ask yourself if your current supplier would give you this kind of support.

As we are engineer's ourselves, we understand the hassle and cost of machine downtime so we always provide a very quick turn-around of all repairs thus reducing your downtime. Some manufacturer's can take up to a month to complete warranty repairs which we feel is ridiculous.

I May have a problem with my machine, what should I do?

If you have a problem with your machine, call our technical department on 01452 733933 or email us via our contact us page.

We will check settings and try to get you back welding,

If we confirm that there is a fault with machine we will do the following, quickly.
Arrange next day UK collection of machine using our couriers.
When machine arrives at our Gloucester technical department we will quickly repair the fault.
We will then courier machine back to you on a next day UK courier.
All covered by our collect and return warranty - no hassle - no quibble.
If your machine is out of warranty, we will advise cost to you before repairs are carried out.

For highlands, offshore and Ireland delivery time is 48hrs.
