29 April 2025Brought a lightly used 2 nd hand unit for a remote repair after a very troublesome jasic 180and then Used for general repairs and fabrication. Been pleased with the unit. Brought this for a elderly friend when asked for a good inverter welder No real issues as yet earth clamp internal strap given out but doesn’t stop it working.

10 September 2024As a novice this has been a god send. The adjustability means that it can be set perfectly to the job and allows the preferred speed of use to match ability without compromising the weld. In capable hands this really would provide a very useful asset and it’s light weight and portability are a big bonus . The casing , strap, leads, and switches appear to be of good quality and the carrying case is sturdy enough to take the rigours of constant transportation should it be needed..I’ve used mine on farming equipment to date which is very robust heavy gauge steel and the unit has done exactly what it should, giving good solid joints and me more confidence to improve my skills. So for anyone new to welding this really is a superb choice, and for the experienced, and absolute walk in the park. And a major factor for me and many others would be the price point and customer service. The customer service reviews where fantastic which is so important now days and the price point is bordering on ridiculously cheap from my experience too date. A very well done to this company for making the whole experience great from ordering, to delivery and use.

03 April 2024I love this welder , easy to weld with .makes me a better stick welder .light and portable. I wouldn't choose to have this style of stick clamp as i prefer the screw type but use to it now and no issues as yet.i don't like the short leads but they are light and i guess having the welder on a suitable extension lead is the answer. It remembers the amp settings from last time which is great . Does seem to upset radio when switched on which is a shame 🤔. I have no issues recommending this welder, for the money excellent 👌 👍

20 November 2022Simple welder. Works well. Bought this to replace my ancient buzz box. Good for DIY home use. Can't say about reliability yet. You could supply it with a plug of choice fitted though as it's quite difficult you find a domestic plug that will accept the heavy duty wires. Also it would be good to have the tig options available such as a suitable **, consumables and gas regulator.

First impressions are good, my only one critisism would be the carry case probably wont last long, quite flimsy, but really not bothered about that.

11 September 2019I purchased this welder to construct decorative ironwork and as an upgrade to an old ac welder, welds so much smoother than the old buzz box, striking is instant, no more scratching around in the dark! Only time will tell on the quality but if its anything like the plasma cutter or mig welder it will be very well built and give years of service.

16 October 2018This is a great portable welder that ticks all the boxes. I have been using it to weld 5mm scaffold in to a sold frame. Whilst using an air feed mask this welder has been producing good penetration and clean welds without me even cleaning the galvanization before hand. It’s light, runs off a stranded 13am plug. I have been using this for just over a week and have complete hundreds of joints without issue. Great product ***

15 May 2018Bought this as a gift for a friend and to teach him to arc weld. I wish I had one of these when I was learning. Striking and holding a short arc is really easy with this machine. Had my friend producing good quality welds within 15 minutes. The size of this tiny machine belies it's capabilities. We ran quite a few 3.2mm rods non stop at 105- 115 amps with no issues. It did this with a 13 amp plug on it. Cannot yet offer comment on the reliability of this welder as have just received it.
