This November we attended the NEC Classic Motor Show at the National Exhibition Center in Birmingham.

We were inundated with positive feedback from visitors and even other exhibitors at the NEC Classic Motor Show, labeling this year’s stand as our best stand to date.

As always it was a fantastic opportunity to connect with our customers, old and new, to catch up on where you are in your welding journey.

New Range of Machines

We took the opportunity this year to present to you all our brand new range of machines. Mig and Tig Welders with the new HD TFT and LCD displays powered up. This allowed you all to see what new features and settings we have built into these Machines.
Although of course, we couldn’t let you physically weld with the Machines (Yet that is!) This turned out to be a fantastic talking point and a big hit being able to play with the settings.

At the show, visitors were buzzing with excitement as they explored the capabilities of our new welding machines.
With sleek HD TFT and LCD displays, showcasing the new features and settings that we have built into the Machines.
From R-Tech easy settings, to enhanced manual options, our machines stood out amongst the crowd.

The stand was consistently busy throughout the weekend. Car enthusiasts and welders alike gathered around our displays, eager to learn more about what we had to offer this year.
Visitors were impressed by the clarity of the displays and intuitive controls, making welding easier and more precise than ever before.
Our team of experts were on hand to demonstrate the machines and answer any questions. Ensuring that everyone left the show with a deeper understanding of the capabilities and benefits of our welding equipment.

Overall, the new welding machines were a hit at the show, generating a lot of interest and excitement among attendees.
We are proud to have showcased our latest range and a glimpse into the future of our Welding Machines. We took it upon ourselves to make this our most interactive stand to date.

Perfect Partners - MAC & R-Tech

This year we partnered our stand at the NEC Classic Motor Show with MAC INDUTRIES to show you the full welding package.
MAC INDUSTIRES showcased their industry leading welding and fabrication tables, Helix Chairs and Accessories.
This was MAC's first time at the Classic Motor Show and it was a great success for them also. We are sure there will be more to come!

R-Tech Ambassadors Displays

We also had display pieces created especially for the event by a few of our ambassadors and customers including:

- Aluminum race seats hand fabricated by Josh Leech at Classic-Race-Fabrication

This display was expertly welded together using our 210 amp digital Tig Welder, showcasing the AC Function of the machine.
The AC setting was used to flawlessly join the aluminium pieces, resulting in stunning, long weld passes. This truly demonstrates the skill, patience, and time required for high-quality tig welding.
If you have ever Tig Welded before, you will understand the skill that goes into a long weld pass.
At some point throughout the welding process, you are going to need to stop to allow the workpiece to cool down/ grab some more filler rods.
Josh has really honed the skill of Tig Welding. On this piece shows no breakage in between stopping and continuing to weld. This gives the illusion that it is one solid weld pass.

- To Purge or not to Purge created by Eden Young at GIZFAB

Eden over at GIZFAB designed this display piece that really got visitors thinking.

Here at R-Tech, we stock a wide range of accessories designed for back purging including TICON Purge Sets.

Eden created two pieces of pipework, one which has been back purged and one which has not.

Using the new R-Tech TIG211TFT along with Ticon purge plugs Eden created a spectacular display piece showing the strength, quality and smoothness of a weld that has been back-purged compared to a weld that has not.

Special Guests on the Stand

Every year we take an R-Tech Ambassador along with us with a display piece for the show.
This year we took Alex Fox from the Ken Fox Wall of death team who showcased their 1920’s Indian Scout Motorcycle.
As you can imagine, having a bike as famous as this drew a lot of attention and was a fantastic talking point.

Along with the display pieces designed by our ambassadors we were also visited by a few of our other ambassadors across the weekend including Miracle_man89, RuskiWeld Fab, Yorkshire Car Restoration, The Machine Shop, GregoryKingDesign, Sarahmaeart1, Doubleboost & Trevsblog

Overall the show was a fantastic success with many visitors leaving as new R-Tech users!

We hope you enjoyed the show as much as we did and we can’t wait for the next one!
