I’ve only used it for a few practise welds but it is definitely far easier and more comfortable to use than the rather large torch that came with the tig welder.

Having initially learned to TIG *** with a conventional torch, finding the CK9 was a revelation! No more aching wrist or having to balance bulky feed pipes over my arm. I opted for the shorter body and it really is like holding a pen; definitely worth the extra cost.

I'm a novice tig welder but this is so much better than the torch that came with the welder I recently purchased from R Tech. I am really pleased with everything that I have bought, though it would have been nice to have had the option of buying this with the original welder purchase.

Needed an easier, lightweight to hold torch and the CK9 air cooled flex torch fits the bill. I’m able to *** aluminium easier and for longer as this torch is so light and the cable so manageable. I am totally pleased with it and would recommend this torch to anyone who is passionate about producing good aluminium ***s. The quality of the torch is second to none and I wish I had switched to it sooner. My Ali ***s improved with the first use as you can concentrate on your *** and not have a heavy torch and cable weighing down on your hand. Well done R Tech. Thanks

Using the torch go delicate work on stainless steel. I found the ck9 to be amazingly light in weight and easy to manipulate. The torch appears to be well made and ideal for the tasks I am looking to use it for.

Grate torch, so much easier to use than the standard torch supplied with the machine. You have much more control with this torch.

I have not yet used the torch properly, but it feels great. It is now connected to my esab aristo tig. I am looking forward to really test the smoothness of this flexible torch and hose. I recommend this for all who wants a light smooth torch. The quality seems excellent, time will tell.

As a beginner to TIG-welding I wanted to get all the help possible. CK9 Flex Head with Gas Saver kit really boosted my hobby. It's just so nice. You need to feel it. Let's say I won't be using anything else if I can avoid it. I weld aluminum, usually 2mm thick. Mostly new stuff but sometimes I have to fix old and *** stuff as well. My kit consists of quality products and I'm very happy I chose CK to be a part of it. I actually found CK to be surprisingly affordable. Money well spent!

Wow the CK 9 has been an absolute joy to use. So light and manageable, I get a lot less fatigue in my hand and wrist using this torch. My only regret is not getting one sooner. The only thing that would improve this product would be to include some consumables. Can’t recommend R tech or the CK 9 enough!

Nice torch, I have no comparison as learning but against the standard torch much lighter to handle and the gas save kit seems to add that extra refinement.

Used in a home workshop on thin sheet aluminium and steel. CK is good quality if more expensive but seems to be more durable.

The torch is much smaller and lighter than the supplied torches and the flexible lead reduces strain on hands and arms from stiff leads. My go to torch for most projects now.

As a hobby welder (0.8mm wall cromo tube mostly) this is a fantastic little torch. Only tried it up to about 80a on some 2mm steel but there was very little heat build up. The torch and lead are so much lighter and easier to control than the cheap wp17 torch that came with my welder. The flexi head is also handy to get into tight spaces between tubes. Highly recommended.
