I needed a very light flexible TIG torch for some more delicate welding. It is only needed for light duty welding (but will still handle 150A), in a fairly tame environment and I use a footswitch anyways so this has no protective sheath and no switching system which makes it ideal and very flexible and light weight. No wrestling a bulky cable and trigger gun.

This was recommended as a substitution for the supplied torch as its primarily used by my daughter who has smaller hands. I cannot compare to anything else however it seems light and well built.

I ordered R-Tech Flexi WP17 TIG torch after seeing a YouTube review by Doubleboost. Quality is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a lightweight torch.
